The Lab Behind the Patterns

labs.llc is a working studio for generative systems — pattern engines, live renderers, and the tooling that makes them usable by people who aren't engineers.

Everything here starts as a question about rules: what happens when a constraint bends, when a seed shifts, when a system is handed to a stranger. The output is software you can actually run — not slides about software you might build.

Operating Principles

  • Rules Over Renders

Ship the system, not one lucky frame.

  • Real-Time Or Nothing

If it can't hold 60fps, it isn't finished.

  • Open Handles

Every parameter is someone else's idea waiting to happen.

Notes From the Bench

Jul 2026

Seeded Randomness Is a Design Decision

Reproducibility isn't a technical footnote — it's what turns a pretty output into something a person can own, share, and build on.

Bring Us a Hard System

Generative tooling, real-time renderers, or a creative product that needs to survive contact with actual users — labs.llc is open for work that has a technical spine.
