Four desks,
one screen.

A hundred and thirty properties is a lot of tabs. This opens two or four of them at once, side by side, each pane chosen from a list of every room and everything in it — the news wire next to the markets desk, the clock next to the atlas, whatever you actually want to watch together.

Nothing is loaded until you choose it, the arrangement is remembered in your own browser, and the panes follow whichever edition you are reading.

Method

What can be framed, and what cannot.

Every pane is a real page of this site, loaded in a frame. That works because the yard sends frame-ancestors 'self' — a page of labs.llc may be framed by labs.llc and by nothing else, which is the same rule that stops anybody else putting this estate inside theirs.

The outposts are the exception, and they are marked. Nineteen properties of the register live on their own domains, and those domains send the same rule about themselves — so they cannot appear in a pane here, and a browser would show an empty box rather than say why. They are in the list, marked, and they open in a new tab instead.

A pane is the page, not a picture of it. Everything in it works — it fetches its own data, keeps its own state and follows its own edition. That also means four live desks are four live pages: on a slow connection, open two.
