Health · eleven clinical desks

Your own health,
on your own device.

Doors on one subject, from opposite ends of it. Rx.Luxury is a clinical desk that runs in your browser — intake, a symptom checker over 219 conditions, medications, vitals, a visit packet and a DICOM workstation — and what you enter stays there, apart from the register searches it sends out. Hanta looks the other way: the live outbreak wire, watching what is moving through the world rather than through you.

Both read federal registers rather than inventing anybody. Rx.Luxury’s directory is NPPES, the register of every clinician in the United States who bills insurance, and the CMS facility file behind Hospital Compare — 5,419 Medicare-certified hospitals with the government’s own star rating. Neither property carries a rating, a network or an appointment time that nobody keeps.

Neither is a diagnosis and neither is triage. The symptom checker is an orientation aid: it shows which recognised conditions share the pattern you describe, and which kind of clinician sees them. It will not tell you what you have and it will not tell you that you are fine.

RX Doctors in 69 countries 141,701 practices and specialists from OpenStreetMap across Europe and the Americas, with who is open right now. Dentist Every dental office on the map 109,030 dental offices from OpenStreetMap, near you or by city and postcode, each filed as general or under its specialty. Symptom checker 219 conditions, narrowed Pick symptoms on a drawn body and the conditions narrow to those that fit them all, red flags first, never a diagnosis. Imaging lab A DICOM viewer for your own scan Open a DICOM scan to set window and level, step through slices and export a PNG, without it leaving your machine. Clinicians The NPI Registry, searched live Every US clinician who bills insurance, by condition, specialty or surname near you, with the NPI printed to check. Facilities Hospitals, and where else care happens Eight kinds of Medicare-certified facility, from hospitals to hospice, read live from CMS, with its hospital star ratings. Rx.Luxury A clinical desk kept in your browser Intake, symptoms, medications, vitals and a DICOM lab on one educational desk, with your record kept on this device. Hanta The outbreak wire, watched live Hantavirus news live from Google News, an 18-search archive kept in your browser, and the MV Hondius cluster record. Trials Studies recruiting now, and how near ClinicalTrials.gov searched live by condition and place for recruiting studies, with phase, sponsor and nearest sites. Pantry Ingredients and recalls, by barcode Scan or type a food barcode to read its ingredients and allergens from Open Food Facts and the FDA and USDA recalls matched to it. Hospitals Medicare’s ratings, nearest first Search a ZIP for the nearest Medicare-registered hospitals with CMS’s star ratings, emergency times, infections and survey stars.

What they share

Kept in the page, read live, or mapped.

Three of these eleven — Symptom checker, Imaging lab and Rx.Luxury — keep what you give them in the page: the symptoms you pick, the scan you open, the record you build. Nothing leaves them but the register searches you ask for. Six — Clinicians, Facilities, Hanta, Trials, Pantry and Hospitals — read a public register or feed live. The other two — RX and Dentist — are directories extracted from OpenStreetMap, searchable by city, postcode, specialty or name. All eleven are free to use, the clinical desk as much as the registers it searches.
