The Block, Written Down.
Every Name Checked Twice.
Fourteen hundred diamond dealers, jewellers, ateliers, refiners and watch specialists — on 47th Street and in twelve markets beyond it.
Open the Directory →Who We Are
A directory, not a marketplace.
We do not take a commission, rank by who paid, or sell placement. The order here is alphabetical within a department and nothing else. What the directory is worth is entirely a function of whether the entries are right, so that is the only thing we spend effort on.
Every listing is checked against more than one source before it goes in — the bourse rolls, the tower directories, the trade registers and the business's own material. Where two sources disagree, the entry waits.
Verified businesses across every market the directory covers.
The block itself — one address, more of the trade than anywhere else.
Antwerp, Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Ramat Gan and beyond.
Nothing goes in on a single source, however authoritative it looks.
What They Do
Six departments.
The trade divides by what a house actually does, not by what it sells at the counter. A cutter, a setter and a bourse member are three businesses, and somebody hunting for one is not looking for the others.
Diamonds
Importers, cutters, certificated stones and bourse members — the wholesale floor the rest of the block is built on.
Wholesalers & dealersJewellery
Retail and wholesale showrooms and the manufacturers behind them, dealing in finished pieces rather than loose stones.
Showrooms & makersBespoke
Ateliers, CAD studios and master setters — the people who make one thing once, to a drawing that did not exist yesterday.
Design & settingBridal
Engagement, bands and full bridal collections, from the houses that do little else and the ones that do it best.
Engagement & bandsMetals
Gold, silver and platinum — buyers, refiners and bullion dealers, the quiet half of the trade that never leaves the building.
Exchange & refiningWatches
Authorised dealers, vintage specialists and the watchmakers who service what the dealers sell.
Timepieces & serviceThe Directory
The whole book.
Search by name, address or speciality; narrow by department and by market. Alphabetical within a department, and nothing is promoted.

Our Method
Three rules.
A directory is only ever as good as what it refuses to print.
One authoritative-looking source is still one source. Entries sit out until a second one agrees.
No commission, no sponsored rows, no ranking by spend. The order is alphabetical and that is the whole algorithm.
A listing with no phone shows no phone. A gap is information; a plausible guess is not.
Markets
Thirteen places.
The trade is a small number of streets in a small number of cities. These are the ones that matter, and the directory covers each the same way it covers the block.
47th Street and the wider metro
Seven hundred and five houses on the block itself, plus the showrooms and workshops in the surrounding metro that trade with it daily.
The AmericasMiami and Los Angeles
The Seybold building and the downtown LA jewellery district — the two American floors that work the way 47th Street works.
InternationalAntwerp to Singapore
Ten international centres — Antwerp, Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Ramat Gan, Mumbai, Singapore and Zurich among them.
