Where each panel reads
Tape, movers, lookup, charts, company news: Yahoo Finance’s public
endpoints (spark, chart, search, predefined screeners, trending, RSS). Yahoo
publishes no CORS headers, so a small relay beside this page fetches them
server-side from a fixed allow-list of five hosts — nothing else passes.
Filings and insiders: SEC EDGAR’s latest-filings feeds, and for
Form 4 the filing’s own primary_doc.xml, parsed transaction by
transaction; the SEC’s fair-access rules (named agent, under ten requests
a second) are honoured and answers are cached for four minutes.
Yield curve: the ^IRX/^FVX/^TNX/^TYX quotes. Debt and average
rates: US Treasury Fiscal Data, direct. FX: ECB reference rates via
Frankfurter, direct. Crypto: CoinGecko and Coinbase, direct.
Fear & greed: alternative.me. News: Google News RSS and
Yahoo RSS through the same relay.
What it cannot tell you
Quotes are delayed the way the public tape is delayed — minutes, not milliseconds. Every panel re-reads every 100 s (the relay caches the SEC feeds for four minutes, so an insider re-read may repeat the last answer); a hidden tab holds its clocks and catches up when you return. A Form 4 sale is usually a plan, a tax bill or diversification, and the price is the one the insider reported, not the tape’s. If a wire is silent the panel says no answer and keeps its last honest read; it never fills the gap with a number. Nothing here is investment advice, and no key, account or cookie of yours is involved — the only thing remembered is the edition.
