Scope: a standard domestic LLC at standard processing speed, filed online where the online and paper fees differ. The figure shown is the one the cited page states; an add-on or a paper fee that the page also states is in the note under the figure, and nothing is computed from a note.

Wyoming LLC filing fee

$100 to file the Articles of Organization

Note from the reading From the Business Division Filing Fee Schedule effective July 1st, 2026 (revised June 2026). The form instructions also say 'Filing fee of $100.00' and that card payment is available for online filings only. The FAQ says online filings carry a convenience fee assessed by the payment processor; its amount for a formation was not read.

Wyoming LLC annual report and due date

from $60 to file the Annual Report (annual report license tax), every year. This is a minimum: the note says what raises it

Note from the reading $60 is the MINIMUM. The amount is a license tax on assets located and employed in Wyoming: $60 or $0.0002 per dollar of those assets, whichever is greater; the FAQ says an entity with $300,000 or less in assets pays $60. An online filing adds a convenience fee assessed by the payment processor; e-filing is not permitted if the fee is over $500. The report may be filed up to 120 days early; the entity is administratively dissolved if the report is not filed within 60 days after the due date. The due rule was read at https://sos.wyo.gov/faqs.aspx?root=BUS : 'if your business registers or qualifies on January 15th, your annual report due date will be January 1st of each year.'

Wyoming LLC annual tax or franchise tax

not read

Not read. The annual report license tax and the annual report are one filing and one payment, recorded under report. No official page read today states whether any other annual, franchise or privilege tax is charged to LLCs, or that none is.

Not read is not the same as no tax. It means no official page was read that says whether Wyoming charges an LLC an annual, franchise or privilege tax separate from the report fee.

Publication requirement

not read

Not read. No official page read today states a newspaper publication requirement for an LLC, or the absence of one. The Articles of Organization instructions do not mention publication.

Looked for and not read

  • The amount of the payment processor's convenience fee on online filings.
  • An official statement on whether an LLC owes any annual state tax other than the annual report license tax.
  • An official statement on newspaper publication for LLCs.

The researcher's notes

Written by the researcher who read the pages, unedited. Field names such as due_kind are the names in this site's data file.

Wyoming's yearly charge is called a license tax but it is paid with, and as the fee for, the annual report: one filing, one amount. Following the schema it is recorded under report and tax.applies is null, not false, because no page read says there is no other tax. A generator should treat $60 as a minimum, not a flat fee. No conflict: the fee schedule, the FAQ ('The tax is $60 or two-tenths of one mill on the dollar ($.0002), whichever is greater.') and the form instructions ('Annual reports are due every year on the first day of the anniversary month of formation.') agree. The form instructions are marked 'Revised May 2022'; the fee schedule is newer (June 2026) and shows the same $100.00.

Fees change. The state's own page is the authority: open the source link beside a figure before you file or pay. This desk is a reading of public pages. It is not legal advice and it is not tax advice.
